In the fierce battle of converting visitors into buyers, prioritizing your customers' shopping experience is crucial. The only question is: How can you ensure that your customers effortlessly find the items they desire on their journey?

The answer: Make every search a relevant and fruitful experience. By providing customers with precisely what they need from the characters they type into the search bar, you can streamline their journey and create a seamless path to their desired products.

Semantic Search is the ace in that customer’s shopping journey. Why? It brings effortless and relevant product discovery, the cornerstone of an exceptional online shopping experience.

✨ Semantic Search is now available in Boost AI Search & Discovery!

Now, with our Semantic Search, you can ensure shoppers feel understood and valued during their search experience. It goes beyond traditional search methods, enhancing customers' and merchants' overall shopping journey.

Curious about how it works in your store? Well, let's delve into our latest AI-powered search innovations to provide you with the answers ⬇️

What is Semantic Search?

Semantic Search revolutionizes the way data is retrieved by tapping into the power of intent and context embedded within search queries. By deciphering the user's needs, semantic Search delivers results that are highly relevant and aligned with their intent.

This advanced data retrieval method is further enhanced by natural language processing (NLP), which helps users better understand product information. Additionally, machine learning (ML) algorithms utilize data to improve and optimize the user experience continuously.

Together, these technologies create a seamless and efficient search experience, ensuring users find exactly what they want.

Let’s say, if a customer searches for "red dress for a summer wedding," Semantic Search recognizes the context and intent, presenting relevant results that match the occasion and preferences. Therefore, it can suggest and display a curated selection of red dresses that are appropriate for a summer wedding and reflect customer’s style preferences.

How does our Semantic Search feature work?

Key Features in Boost AI's Semantic Search

Harnessing the Power of Context: Understanding Natural Language

Boost's Semantic Search elevates AI-powered search functionality by tapping into the power of context. It surpasses traditional keyword matching and instead focuses on understanding the natural language queries of shoppers.

This advanced capability empowers shoppers to express their needs in a more organic and intuitive way, resulting in a search experience that is both seamless and efficient.

Semantic Search analyzes NLP in shopper’s query

Hyper-Personalization: Tailoring Results with Unrivaled Precision

One of the standout features of Boost’s Semantic Search is its ability to provide personalized search results.

By leveraging the power of semantic understanding, it skips the generic recommendations and tailors results to the preferences and behavior of individual shoppers.

Semantic Search takes into account past interactions, purchase history, and browsing patterns to curate a personalized set of search results. This level of personalization enhances the user experience, making shoppers feel understood and valued.

Essential Tools in Boost’s Semantic Search

Adjust the impact weight of Semantic Search easily with a slider cursor

Semantic Search in Boost AI allows you to adjust the feature's impact weight through the slider cursor in the settings.

By modifying this setting, you can fully control the influence of Semantic Search on your store's search results. The default setting is 50% impact weight, providing a balanced approach between traditional search and the enhanced capabilities of Semantic Search. When the impact weight is 100%, Semantic Search fully takes over the store's search engine.

💡 Pro tip:

As the impact weight increases, the range of results obtained from a search query widens, allowing for more comprehensive and diverse outcomes.

Visualize the impact of their Semantic Search settings with a simulator

You can enter a search query in the search bar and compare the results between two columns: "With Semantic Search" and "Without Semantic Search."

The "With Semantic Search" column displays the results when Semantic Search is enabled with the selected impact weight, while the "Without Semantic Search" column shows the results without Semantic Search's influence.
