2024 was an absolutely phenomenal year at Boost AI Search & Discovery. We're incredibly proud of the strides we've made and the features we've launched, but most importantly the incredible growth our merchants have experienced using our platform.

From smashing revenue records to empowering millions of shoppers, 2024 has been a year of milestones. So, grab a coffee, sit back, and join us as we recap the highlights and look ahead to an even more exciting 2025!

Q4 Feature Focus: Empowering Merchants for Holiday Success

The final quarter of 2024 was a whirlwind of activity as we focused on delivering features to help our merchants maximize BFCM, year-end, as well as new year sales. Here's a quick recap of what we shipped:

Product Bundling & Recommendations

This year, we took a giant leap forward with Predictive Bundles, which had the first-in-market placement in the search bar, bringing the power of smart product combinations directly to shoppers and increasing average order value for merchants. Hot on the heels of standard bundles, we launched AI-generated bundles, saving merchants valuable time and effort.

And just in time for the holidays, we unveiled Personalized Bundles, allowing for truly tailored product recommendations. To top it off, enhanced add-to-cart buttons, clear discount pricing, and smooth placeholder loading made the entire shopping experience even more seamless and engaging.

And for our global merchants, the new Bundle Translation Tool in the Admin App simplified internationalization efforts. We're also hard at work on personalized recommendations, which will soon deliver even more tailored experiences on home, collection, and cart pages, along with exciting volume discount capabilities.

Product Pre-Order

Giving customers the option to pre-order highly anticipated products is an excellent go-to-market strategy. We ensured our pre-order functionality is WCAG compliant and accessible to all users. Button customization allows campaign-specific branding, and pre-order analytics provide data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns.

Shopify Integration Enhancements

We focused on seamless integration with the Shopify ecosystem. The Visual Editor CTA now allows for extensive button style customization, while Turbo Analytics fixes addressed critical metrics issues. We resolved asset sync issues and implemented Klaviyo integration for reviews, streamlining marketing automation and customer feedback collection. We continue improving the Visual Editor and Smart Styling features for even greater flexibility.

This year, our focus has been laser-sharp: empowering businesses to create truly exceptional shopping experiences. AI-powered search and discovery is the key to unlocking unprecedented growth in the ever-evolving eCommerce landscape. And the numbers speak for themselves! We're talking a staggering $4.7 billion in total revenue generated through Boost, a whopping 42.4% increase compared to 2023. That's not just growth; that's a testament to our platform's power and our merchants' dedication.

But it's not just about the big numbers. We're equally proud of the 19.4 million orders powered by Boost, a remarkable 77.98% surge from the previous year. This signifies a tangible increase in customer engagement and satisfaction, proving that our solutions drive real results for businesses of all sizes. With an average order value of $242 and a revenue per visitor of $337 (an impressive 81.18% increase from 2023), it's clear that Boost is helping merchants maximize their sales potential.

In 2024, we resolved an impressive 33,800 support tickets and maintained a stellar 94% customer satisfaction rate. We're incredibly grateful for the positive feedback we've received, including 169 new 5-star reviews. 2024 Features to Remember: Delivering Innovation That Matters

Beyond the impressive sales figures, 2024 was a year of significant product development. We focused on delivering features that directly address our merchants' needs and enhance their customers' shopping experience. Let’s take a look back at the most significant launches of Boost AI Search & Discovery last year.

Boost TURBO: Faster storefront and easier for customization

One of our major achievements was the launch of Boost TURBO, a game-changer that optimizes site speed and performance.

TURBO leverages erver-side rendering and liquid template syntax, which dramatically improves storefront loading speed. This results in a better customer experience and higher search rankings for merchants’ stores.

Moreover, the latest version of Boost TURBO offers both visual and code editors for customization, catering to various user skill levels.

AI-powered search enhancements

Last year, we also introduced the optimization of AI search, a suite of intelligent features including Semantic Search, Product Performance Ranking, and In-line Banner for Merchandising. These tools empower merchants to connect shoppers with the perfect products effortlessly and efficiently.

From AI to Personalization

Personalization took center stage in 2024, with the introduction of Personalized Search & Recommendations. With a strong AI/ML foundation, Boost’s Personalization allows merchants to tailor the shopping experience to individual customer preferences, driving engagement and boosting conversions. We also launched AI and Personalized Bundles, making it easier than ever for merchants to create compelling product bundles and maximize sales.

Brand-new tools and expanded integrations

This year, Boost AI Search & Discovery supercharged product discovery with two innovative features: Predictive Bundles and Pre-order. We're leading the way by making it effortless for merchants to boost average order value (up to 20%!) by showcasing smart product bundles directly within the instant search bar.

And that's not all!

We've continuously enhanced our bundling power throughout the year, introducing AI-generated bundles and, most recently, personalized bundles tailored to each shopper.

For businesses looking to generate excitement and manage pre-orders effectively, our new Pre-order feature has been a resounding success. Released in Q3 of 2024, this is an exclusive gift for our Professional users to predict demand and create a buzz around the holiday sales.

Integration with leading platforms was another key focus for us. We strengthened our partnerships with REVIEWS.io and Klaviyo, providing seamless integration and valuable data insights for our merchants.

Looking Ahead: Boosting Growth with AI in 2025

As we look ahead to 2025, we're more excited than ever about the future of AI-powered search and discovery. We're committed to enhancing our AI models, particularly in Search, Recommendation, and Personalization. We'll be introducing more advanced features for Cross-sell and Upsell, further leveraging personalization to create truly tailored shopping experiences.

And we have some exciting new features in the pipeline, including Back in Stock notifications and a few other sneak peeks we can't wait to share with you soon!
