Runners know exactly what they want. They search for a specific model by name, nickname or abbreviation, but Shopify's native search took that too literally, returning dead ends or sold-out shoes across a deep catalogue. The exact product a runner came for was often the one they couldn't find. Pace Athletic didn't feel the native solution was giving them what they needed.
