In a visually crowded online space, grabbing a shopper's attention is half the battle. That's why we’re so excited to announce a highly requested update: you can now upload GIFs in your merchandising banners and manual product bundles.

Static images get the job done, but GIFs tell a story. Imagine the possibilities: a shimmering GIF to highlight a new jewelry collection, a dynamic animation showcasing a 3-for-2 bundle deal, or a festive GIF for a holiday promotion. This vibrant addition lets you showcase your products with a dynamic flair that stops scrollers in their tracks and drives conversions. To offer even greater flexibility, we've also increased the available banner positions from 6 to 50, allowing for precise placement throughout your product listings.

But we didn't stop there. We’ve also given our popular Pin strategy a major upgrade. You can now pin up to 20 products (up from 7), giving you the power to curate the entire "above the fold" experience for your key collections. Showcase your hero products, door-buster deals, or overstocked items with ease, ensuring they get the visibility they need to sell.

A great back-end needs a flawless front-end. For our merchants on Turbo, we're doubling down on performance and usability. We're implementing SEO-friendly short URLs for filtered collections to help you capture more organic traffic.

We're also adding a sticky filter button for mobile to reduce friction and improve navigation, and we'll continue to match more popular Shopify themes to make onboarding even faster and easier.
